Airplane Talk – April 1-7

FRIDAY: John Wright flew in from Dallas in a Beech A-36TC Bonanza to visit family. Danek Spradlin returned from Brownsville in his Cessna 421 Golden Eagle. A customer flew locally in his AMT-200 Super Ximango powered glider. A customer came from Pampa in his Cessna 177 Cardinal to refuel and spend the night. Med-Trans flew to Covenant Hospital to pick up a patient, then flew to Amarillo and returned in their Bell 407 jet helicopter.

SATURDAY: A customer left for Andrews in his Cessna 177 Cardinal. Ronnie Robbins flew locally in his Piper Super Cruiser. A customer in a Piper Dakota/Pathfinder came from Liberty for a refueling stop en route to Farmington, New Mexico. A customer in a Cessna 182 Skylane flew in from Amarillo for his flight test and then returned to Amarillo. David Patterson flew locally in his Beech V-35B Bonanza. Ron Lowe left for Levelland and later returned in his Ercoupe. A customer came from Lubbock to refuel then returned to Lubbock in his Piper Cherokee 140. Matt Horan flew locally in a Bellanca Viking. A customer drove in from Fayetteville, Arkansas in a Piper PA-18 Super Cub to refuel and stay overnight. Med-Trans flew locally, then to Covenant Hospital to pick up a patient, then to Lubbock and back in their Bell 407 jet helicopter.

SUNDAY: A customer in his experimental RV-6 drove in from Fort Worth for a fuel stop en route to Los Alamos, New Mexico. Med-Trans flew to Clovis, New Mexico and back, then flew to Covenant Hospital, picked up a patient, then to Lubbock and returned in their Bell 407 jet helicopter. A customer in a Beech A36 Bonanza came in from Lubbock for a stop and go, then left for Lubbock. A customer in a Beech 45 Mentor came from Paris for a fuel stop en route to Santa Fe, New Mexico. A customer arrived from McAllen in his Cessna 310 for fuel and lunch, then departed for Grand Junction, Colorado. A customer came from Beaumont in his Mitsubishi MU2 for a refueling stop en route to San Francisco, California. Cody Stroope came from Houston in a Cirrus SR-22 to spend the night. A customer in an RV-6A came from Littlefield to leave his plane with another customer. A customer in a Bellanca Scout came from Littlefield to pick up a passenger and then drove back to Littlefield. A customer flew locally in his motorized glider. A customer arrived from Rawlings, Wyoming in his Cirrus SR-22 for a fuel stop en route to San Antonio.

MONDAY: A customer left for Tucson, Arizona in his Piper Cub. Med-Trans flew to Matador, picked up a patient, then flew to Lubbock and returned in their Bell 407 jet helicopter. A customer flew from Lubbock for a training instrument approach, then returned to Lubbock in his Cirrus SR-20. A customer came from Atlanta, Georgia to refuel and then into his Cessna 525 Citation Jet. Tyler Gann returned from Miami, Florida with a stopover in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in the Piaggio P-180 Avanti powered jet. Cody Stroope left for Houston in his Cirrus SR-22. Ron Lowe flew locally in his Ercoupe.


TUESDAY: A customer flew in from Amarillo to refuel, then returned to Amarillo in his Eurocopter AS-350 A Star jet helicopter. A customer flew to New Orleans, Louisiana in his Socata TBM 850 jet aircraft.

WEDNESDAY: John Wright departed for Dallas in his Beech A-36TC Bonanza. Raj Horan flew to Seminole, Levelland, and back in his Bellanca Viking. A customer flew in from Amarillo for fuel and lunch, then returned to Amarillo later patrolling power lines for Xcel Energy in his Eurocopter AS-350 A-Star jet helicopter. A customer drove to Lubbock in his Cessna 172 Skyhawk. Danek Spradlin flew to Olney and back in his Cessna 421 Golden Eagle. Med-Trans traveled to Clovis, New Mexico, picked up a patient, then to Lubbock and returned in their Bell 407 jet helicopter.

THURSDAY: A customer flew in from Amarillo and Hereford for fuel, then to Littlefield, back to Hereford and Amarillo patrolling power lines for Xcel Energy in their Eurocopter AS-350 jet helicopter. A customer came from Amarillo in his Cessna 177 Cardinal to pick up a part, then returned to Amarillo. Barry Harper flew in from Odessa for fuel and lunch, then flew to Raton, New Mexico in his Grumman Tiger. Monty McFadden flew to Seminole in his Beech B-36TC Bonanza to leave for the annual inspection. Danny Lambert flew locally in his Bellanca Viking. A customer came from Seminole to drop off Monty McFadden, then flew to Littlefield in his Cessna 182 Skylane. A customer came from Duncan, Oklahoma in his Cirrus SR-22 to refuel and stay overnight.
